The project will focus specifically on the definition, implementation and validation of the UP2DATE Software Architecture in the automotive and railway domain. For each domain, a dedicated use case will host a working prototype of the UP2DATE architecture that will allow the evaluation of the objectives and developed technology:
Use cases
RAILWAY
The Railway use case will integrate the UP2DATE architecture in a mixed-criticality gateway device that centralizes the simultaneous downloading of updates on all the railway devices in a facility, thus stressing and testing relevant SASE aspects.
AUTOMOTIVE
The Automotive use case will demonstrate the effectiveness of the UP2DATE approach on updating the software controlling a powertrain unit satisfying SASE requirements.
